We are already anticipating the opening of D20, the board game bar in Ohio, and now we’ve caught wind of another board game venture in the Midwest! Courtney Hartley and Drew Lovell plan to open up Bonus Round Cafe in Wrigleyville, Chicago. If successful, it will be Chicago’s first permanent board game cafe. There will be a cover charge of $7 for players, which will include access to the 200-300 games available, as well as unlimited time to explore them. There will be no cover charge for customers who simply want to grab a drink or a snack and skip the gaming. We love seeing the plans for these new board game establishments, and we hope the trend continues!
